Call to Worship
This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Hymn of Praise
“Majesty, Worship His Majesty” performed by Maranatha Music
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic (universal) church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
God of Transformation, we come together as those who have met you on the mountaintop. We have each had our holy encounters with you; and in those moments, we have wanted to stay on the mountain and retreat from the world. We know that is our longing, not yours. So, as we offer our gifts this morning in response to your blessings in our life, remind us that our mission begins as we leave this place, and help us hold our memories of those mountaintop encounters with you in our hearts. We pray boldly in Jesus’ name. Amen.
A big thank you to everyone who has been able to financially support the church with their tithe or offering during this time of pandemic and economic hardship.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
Hymn of Preparation
Take this time to praise God, to pray and clear your mind, invite God to speak to you through the reading of Scripture and the message.

“Messiah, Son of God”
Hymn of Reflection
Take this time to pray, to sing, to reflect on the message, ask God how you should respond, ask God for help.
“Shine, Jesus, Shine”
May God shine the light of glory into your hearts. May Christ be with you and never leave you. And may the Spirit renew the image of God within you.
We go in peace to love and serve the Lord,
In the name of Christ. Amen.
During these unique times, I am deeply thankful each of you has joined us in this very special way to gather and worship the Lord our God.
In Christ, Pastor Abe Zimmerman
