Apostle’s Creed https://youtu.be/GLrLCJ1MQGI
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic (universal) church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Offertory Prayer
Gracious and Generous God: We offer our gifts to you, knowing full well we have devoted so much more energy into finding the gifts for our families and much less on the gifts we offer to you. You gave Mary, an unmarried girl, a Son so the world might have a Savior. Her response was so simple: “Here I am, the servant of the Lord; let it be according to your word.” May her affirmation of faith and obedience be the gift we offer this day. In Christ, we pray. Amen.
Worship with Tithes and Offerings
A big thank you to everyone who has been able to financially support the church with their tithe or offering during this time of pandemic and economic recession. You can give by sending a check to Hartsville United Methodist Church | PO Box 472 | Hartsville, TN 37074 or you can give digitally through PayPal at https://www.hartsvilleumc.org/give.
The Lord's Prayer https://youtu.be/9Pq-HzVIn2I
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
Hymn of Preparation
Take this time to praise God, to pray and clear your mind, invite God to speak to you through the reading of God’s word and the message.

Benediction
In all your Advent preparations, remain watchful with your eyes on Christ, whose birth in a manger is but a promise of his coming again in glory. And may the blessing of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit be with you now and forever. Amen.
During these unique times, I am deeply thankful each of you has joined us in this very special way to gather and worship the Lord our God. In Christ, Pastor Abe Zimmerman
