Apostle’s Creed https://youtu.be/GLrLCJ1MQGI
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic (universal) church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Great God of wonderful surprises: we enter this season of preparation for your Son’s coming, looking not for just a memory of past events, but anticipating a return. We strive to get our lives in order and pray that our giving of ourselves to these preparations might reflect the earth-shaking importance of his coming. Help us to give ourselves generously, for we do not know the day or the hour. We pray in the name of the one who will come. Amen. (Mark 13:24-37)

The Lord's Prayer https://youtu.be/9Pq-HzVIn2I
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
Hymn of Preparation
Take this time to praise God, to pray and clear your mind, invite God to speak to you through the message.
“I Know Whom I Have Believed” performed by The Joslin Grove Choral Society
“Almost Christmas: Altogether Peace” (John 14:27, Ephesians 4:3-6)
Hymn of Reflection
Take this time to pray, to sing, to reflect on the message, ask God how you should respond, ask God for help.
“Be Still My Soul (In You I Rest)” performed by Kari Jobe
Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful. (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)
During these unique times, I am deeply thankful each of you has joined us in this very special way to gather and worship the Lord our God.
In Christ, Pastor Abe Zimmerman
