Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Opening Hymn

“Be Thou My Vision” performed by Nathan Drake

Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord:

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, dead and buried;

he descended into hell.

The third day he rose from the dead;

he ascended into heaven,

and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;

from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy catholic (universal) church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

Hymn of Preparation

“For the Healing of the Nations” performed by Kristen and Richard Young

“What God Requires” (Micah 6:1-8)

Closing Prayer

For the closing prayer, please use the Holy Communion prayer of confession below. You are invited to take a moment to pause after each line, giving the Holy Spirit an opportunity to move in your heart as you expand on this time of prayer.

Merciful God, we confess that we have not loved you with our whole heart.

We have failed to be an obedient church.

We have not done your will, we have broken your law,

we have rebelled against your love,

we have not loved our neighbors, and we have not heard the cry of the needy.

Forgive us, we pray.

Free us for joyful obedience, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Closing Hymn

“Let There Be Peace on Earth” performed by Vince Gill

May the Lord bless you and protect you.

May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.

May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.
